Significant differences were found between players and non-players in relation to Life Satisfaction, Positive Affect, Extraversion and Conscientiousness. Correlations between Gaming Hours per Week, Positive Affect, Life Satisfaction and Conscientiousness were weak. Correlations between Game Genre and Personality Traits were weak. Gaming Hours per Week was not a strong predictor of Subjective Well-Being. Other variables should be considered when researching gamers’ well-being. Motivations, passion and basic psychological needs may have a higher impact on well-being variables. Abstract

The Relations between Video Games, Personality and Players’ Well-Being Video games are popular in most parts of the world. Studies about their effects on the players’ health have been produced since their creation.
