Abstract

On March 26th, 2010 the Japanese Community and Cultural Center of Washington (JCCCW) held its second annual Tomodachi (Friends) Luncheon fundraiser at the Bellevue Westin Hotel. The luncheon was extremely successful with more than 270 supporters and community members showing their support for the JCCCW. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors including Boeing, Nintendo, Starbucks, the Woodburn Company, Tom and Sally Hirai and Jeff and Sachie Nitta who covered hosting costs for the event, more than $43,000 raised at the luncheon will go directly to benefit the JCCCW.
