Abstract

I’m sure you’ve heard quite a bit about artificial intelligence (AI), which seems to be having a moment in mainstream media. In particular, ChatGPT is an AI program available for intellectual playtime, and perhaps for a quick way to write a term paper. It occurred to me that it would be interesting to test ChatGPT on a Natural Areas topic. So, I asked ChatGPT: ‘‘How to manage natural areas with fire?’’ The initial response was not wrong, although it seemed rather vague:
