EnglishThrough the analysis of film, documentary and graphic sources, the present work focuses on the presence and narrative function of the Aleman President Urban Center (CUPA), a majestic architectural work designed by Mario Pani that transformed the concept of popular housing in Mexico and Latin America, in six fiction feature films directed between 1950 and 1956 by: Emilio Fernandez, Luis Bunuel, Ismael Rodriguez, Alejandro Galindo, Emilio Gomez Muriel and Benito Alazraki.
