The journals included in the study are the Journal of Finance (JF), Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis (JFQA), Journal of Financial Economics (JFE), Review of Finance (RF), and Review of Financial Studies (RFS). The study analyses the publication trend, identifying the most prolific and influential authors, most productive countries, institutes, and journals during the twenty years from 1999 to 2018. Abstract
Abstract The present study is a bibliometric analysis of the papers published in the top five finance-related journals as listed in the Financial Times (FT50 Journals).
