To that end, UPT Library STAIN Kudus demands librarians to have at least 2 basic competencies namely 1. Professional competence, that is competence related to basic knowledge about information science, information resources, access information, technology, management and research and ability to provide services information and knowledge in libraries; and 2. Abstract

The term librarian is still considered foreign by the audience. All this time, librarians are concerned with daily activities, and are busy with regular service.
