Abstract

The article that follows, addressed a current issue, which covered two significant topics, within human existence, such as COVID-19, as an infectious disease caused by the coronavirus, and on the other hand, the environment, as a set of elements where flora, fauna, human beings, water, air, atmosphere and outer space stand out. Hence, its objective was framed in analyzing the implications of the Covid-19 and Environment binomial, in the life of man. It was based on a documentary research, supported by the review of different written documents and research alluding to the subject. These elements seen separately, are of great importance for the lives of people and that at present, for some reason, converge at a point that calls for reflection, in terms of their importance on them, at any point on planet Earth. As a result of the investigation, it was exposed that the COVID-19 factor is causing a decline in global dynamics, both due to the numerous deaths, as well as the fear of contagion, confinement in homes, social distancing, the paralysis of economic activity, to name a few. However, one should consider the loss of human life whose alarming annual figure is higher than the result of the coronavirus, a product of the damage caused to the environment. It would be convenient then, to intertwine these events, to generate thoughts that allow man to become aware of his responsibility before everything that affects life on the globe.
