The acute progressive course of tuberculosis was found to reduce the role of prophylactic fluorographic examination in this category of patients. Various diagnostic mini-invasive surgical procedures proved to be of great informative value (91.7% sensitivity) in the diagnosis of atypical tuberculosis.
