Finally, sodium dodecyl sulphate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis profiles revealed complete degradation of bovine collagen type 1 after treatment with the toxic preparation. This degradation was inhibited by the addition of homologous antiserum. Abstract

The effects of Fusobacterium necrophorum subsp. necrophorum on the extracellular matrix were investigated.
