The World Health Organisation's Oral Health Programme (ORH).

Abstract

FDI and WHO have recently negotiated an agreement which will enable enhanced co-operation in the future. In this article, written especially for FDI World, Dr. Pakhomov describes how oral health fits into the overall WHO programme. The article describes the way in which communicable and non-communicable diseases have an impact on the world's population and how WHO has rationalised its resources to cope with the consequent demands.
