They can affect the internal organ systems and may have numerous ocular manifestations. This chapter discusses both the systemic and ocular findings of certain connective tissue diseases, specifically cranial arteritis, Sjögren's syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, and lupus erythematosus.
