Abstract

Migrasomes are newly identified extracellular organelles that form on the retraction fibers of migrating cells. Characterized by their pomegranate-like, membrane-bound structure, they encapsulate diverse molecular cargo, including proteins, lipids, RNA, and even damaged mitochondria.
