Abstract
The electrical properties of particles, in particular the volume resistance of disperse systems, are of special importance in a multitude of process engineering processes, especially in the field of product qualification. Since a disperse system is formed of two different phases and since the transportation of an electrical charge in a fluid is different from that in a solid, the volume resistance of bulk particles heavily depends on the properties of the particles and the fluid. In this work, the dependency of volume resistance on product properties, i.e. particle size and dispersity in air, was investigated in a concentric measuring cell.
