By addressing gaps in our understanding of job crafting mechanisms and contextual factors, we can unlock its full potential to transform workplaces and improve employee experiences. This review emphasizes the importance of balanced job crafting efforts to maximize benefits while mitigating risks such as increased workload and burnout.
