Abstract

Ultrasound-guided interventions for the ankle and foot offer precise treatment for musculoskeletal conditions. This article reviews injections of the talocrural joint, first metatarsophalangeal joint, Achilles tendon (via stripping and retrocalcaneal bursa injections), plantar aponeurosis, and tibialis posterior tendon, detailing probe selection, patient positioning, and procedural techniques.
