Abstract
Giant coronary artery aneurysms caused by Kawasaki disease (KD) are rare but can result in substantial morbidity and mortality due to the risk of thrombosis, stenosis, and myocardial infarction. This was the first report of KD causing complete occlusion and thrombus formation of the entire left coronary artery.
