Abstract—Experiments are performed to study the influence of static-pulse treatment on the structure, hardness, roughness, and wear resistance of VT20 alloy samples. This treatment is found to decrease the grain size of the titanium alloy by almost an order of magnitude, to increase its hardness by 1.26 times, to decrease the roughness by 2.74 times, and to decrease the friction coefficient by 1.1 times.
