Abstract
A Pd-catalyzed hydroesterification of vinyl cyclopropanes with aryl formates is described. A wide variety of cyclopropane-containing or ring-opening carboxylic esters can be obtained in good yields under mild reaction conditions. The reaction process is operationally simple and requires no handling of toxic CO.
