Now's a good time to reevaluate, educate board on expense reimbursements

Abstract

Now that most nonprofits are again holding their board meetings in person—or, at least, using a hybrid model of some virtual and some in-person meetings—the topic of reimbursing board members for their expenses related to meeting attendance is once again relevant. While long-established nonprofits and their seasoned boards might be fluent in the ins and outs of expense reimbursement, those with fewer years under their belts might need some insight into the basics.
