[An atypical course of disease at the memory clinic: A man with rapidly progressive cognitive impairment].

Abstract

Memory problems are common in older patients. Sometimes patients are referred to a memory clinic for further analysis. Memory problems are often caused by neuro-degenerative conditions. A characteristic feature of dementia is a slowly progressive course. When the clinical course is different than expected, one must be aware of less common conditions. This case report is an example.
