This is noted as Dr. Abbas and Dr. Ali were the pioneers of starting the neurosurgical centers and services in Kuwait. Dr. Tarik started the pediatric and skull base services, while Dr. Faisal initiated the functional and epilepsy neurosurgical team. Dr. Savić as well as Dr. Waleed were responsible for beginning the vascular neurosurgical care.
