The framework of the non relativistic quark model consists of a Coulomb like potential from the perturbative one gluon exchange and the linear confining potential along with the potential derived from instanton vacuum. Abstract
The mass spectrum of meson states is obtained using a phenomenological non-relativistic quark model (NRQM). The framework of the non relativistic quark model consists of a Coulomb like potential from the perturbative one gluon exchange and the linear confining potential along with the potential derived from instanton vacuum. An overall agreement is obtained with the experimental masses and results are justified by the evaluation of the regge trajectories plotted in the (J,) and (,) planes.
