Abstract

The Front Cover Joining the forces of two biological kingdoms: Combining an O-methyltransferase from grape vine with a bacterial decarboxylase allows direct conversion of biobased phenolic acids to O-protected hydroxy-styrene derivates that find application in the manufacture of biobased adhesives. The exquisite selectivity of both enzymes avoids side reactions and allows their direct coupling to an enzyme cascade reaction. More information can be found in the Research Article by A.
