This communication describes a technique of incorporating a magnet in an ocular prosthesis to make its removal easy. This is especially useful in patients exhibiting deep fornices and severe undercuts. Deep tissue undercuts make it difficult for the patient to remove the prosthesis. The magnet is covered with a layer of acrylic to ensure it does not cause any harmful effects on the adjacent tissues.
