Abstract
The conservation of degraded canvases often requires consolidation treatments that improve mechanical strength and minimize the impact of temperature and humidity fluctuations. In their Research Article (10.1002/cplu.202500058), Romain Bordes, Yiming Jia, and Krister Holmberg present an eco-friendly dispersion system that combines CNC, EHM, and beeswax nanoemulsion for consolidation and hydrophobization of degraded canvases.
