Abstract
Second Harmonic Generation Tuning
In article 2403535, Mengjian Zhu, Zhihong Zhu, Shiqiao Qin, Jiayu Dai, and co-workers show a new method to tune the local SHG response in van der Waals heterostructures by leveraging strong exciton resonance. A systematic investigation reveals how exciton resonance and charge transfer processes within the heterostructure modulate SHG emission. This platform achieves non-invasive local modulation with full reversibility and nanoscale compatibility, resolving the issue of exciton-carrier interactions in 2D nonlinear photonic systems.
