Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: To evaluate the benefits and harms of de-escalation of radiotherapy compared with standard radiotherapy in the treatment of human papillomavirus-associated oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma.
