Different from classical imaging metasurfaces, the proposed HTM has the advantages of independently manipulating both co-polarized and cross-polarized holograms and a low profile of only 0.2λ<sub>0</sub>. This work strongly promotes the development of holography in the direction of portability and chip-integration. Abstract
Holographic Imaging System
The cover image illustrates a low-profile holographic imaging system by integrating the holographic tensor metasurface (HTM) and a millimeter-wave complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) chip. Different from classical imaging metasurfaces, the proposed HTM has the advantages of independently manipulating both co-polarized and cross-polarized holograms and a low profile of only 0.2λ0.
