Abstract
Copper and Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering
Copper-based surfaces exhibit considerable enhancement of the Raman signal for a monolayer of adenine upon excitation in the (deep)-UV range. p-conjugated molecules localized on the copper surface are more likely to contribute to the chemical enhancement of the analyte molecule Raman signal due to their ability to delocalize charge. More details can be found in article 2500078 by Vladimir Sivakov and co-workers.
