Abstract

Undoped and Ti-doped CaSiO3 single crystals were synthesized by the floating zone method, and the photoluminescence (PL) and thermoluminescence (TL) properties were researched. From the measurements of the PL and TL spectra, the emission origin of all the samples would be due to charge transfer between Ti4+ and O2−. In addition, all the samples indicated TL glow peaks at 70, 130, 270, and 360 °C.
