Abstract

As a part of the taxonomic revisionary study of the genus Bupleurum L. in India, nine names have been typified following the guidelines of the ICN. Lectotype has been designated here based on analysis of protologues and literature and herbarium investigation for the following names: Bupleurum longicaule var. clarkeanum, B. longicaule var. dalhousieanum, B. gilesii, B. jucundum, B. jucundum var. cashemiricum, B. lanceolatum, B. maddenii, B. plantaginifolium, and B. thomsonii.
