The reaction, conducted at room temperature, successfully formed both C─S and C─N bonds between benzoylacetonitrile and phenylsulfonhydrazine. This method offers several advantages, including mild reaction conditions, a wide substrate scope, high yields, and simplicity. Abstract
A one-pot, efficient domino reaction was developed for the synthesis of 1,4-bis(phenylsulfonyl)-1H-pyrazol-5-amine derivatives, using tetrabutylammonium iodide (TBAI) as a catalyst and tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) as an oxidant.
