Abstract

Achieving climate neutrality in the chemical industry requires a fundamental restructuring of the value chains in just 20 years. To close the carbon cycle, well-known technologies such as pyrolysis or gasification will be used in new value chains. The end products must continue to meet the high quality requirements of the end user industries. The challenge is to develop processes that are tolerant of the variety of raw materials.
