Abstract
This work presents the results of measurements of the hyperfine structure for electronic levels belonging to odd-parity configurations of the terbium atom with high quantum number . Laser spectroscopy with laser-induced fluorescence detection was used. The hyperfine structure of 80 terbium lines was recorded in three spectral regions. The hyperfine structure constants were determined for 47 levels with quantum number values between 9/2 and 17/2.
Exactly 30 of those levels have not been studied so far; for the remaining 17 levels the precision of the constants was improved.
