Abstract

The Front Cover illustrates the major significant strategies that have emerged for both C(sp²)–H and C(sp³)–H chalcogenation of α-amino acids and peptides. Among these approaches, efficient chalcogenation methodologies have been explored through various methods using transition-metal catalysts, photocatalysts, and metal-free strategies. Recent progress in this field is considered in the Review by N. K. Sharma and co-workers (DOI: 10.1002/ejoc.202400513).
