Bacillus subtilis is often used in different forms, such as powder, granule, and liquid, in the livestock and poultry industry to produce feed food additives and other products due to its advantages of high stability, low pathogenicity, high protein secretion capacity, and developed fermentation technology. This article reviews the biological characteristics, physiological functions, and effects on livestock and poultry production, as well as their mechanisms of action, to enhance the positive impact of the rational use of Bacillus subtilis as an additive in animal husbandry, such as feed and livestock food. Abstract

Probiotics, as an alternative to antibiotics, are one of the better choices for ensuring product quality and food safety. Bacillus subtilis is often used in different forms, such as powder, granule, and liquid, in the livestock and poultry industry to produce feed food additives and other products due to its advantages of high stability, low pathogenicity, high protein secretion capacity, and developed fermentation technology. This article reviews the biological characteristics, physiological functions, and effects on livestock and poultry production, as well as their mechanisms of action, to enhance the positive impact of the rational use of Bacillus subtilis as an additive in animal husbandry, such as feed and livestock food. In addition, this article also evaluates the potential of Bacillus subtilis in improving the adverse effects of livestock and agricultural cultivation on the environment.

枯草芽孢杆菌:近年来在畜禽工业中的应用。
益生菌作为抗生素的替代品,是保证产品质量和食品安全的较好选择之一。枯草芽孢杆菌因其稳定性高、致病性低、蛋白质分泌能力强、发酵技术发达等优点,常以粉末、颗粒、液体等不同形式用于畜禽行业生产饲料食品添加剂等产品。本文就枯草芽孢杆菌的生物学特性、生理功能、对畜禽生产的影响及其作用机制进行综述,以期提高其作为添加剂在饲料、畜禽食品等畜牧业中合理使用的积极作用。此外,本文还对枯草芽孢杆菌在改善家畜和农业种植对环境的不良影响方面的潜力进行了评价。
