Abstract

Purpose

The diagnosis of liver fibrosis is critical in managing chronic liver diseases. The EASL guidelines now recognize ultrasound elastography as a valuable, non-invasive method for assessing liver fibrosis. However, there is a lack of uniform use and reporting of the technique.
