Abstract
Hyperammonaemia during stem cell transplant is a distinct biochemical and clinical entity. It has a different pathological driver from other common forms of hyperammonaemia. Early recognition of this pathology and an understanding of its biochemical, pathological and microbiological aspects inform an aggressive management algorithm.
