Non-allergenic mixed T cell epitope peptides for preventing Scy p 9 allergic reactions

Meanwhile, the findings of the inhibitory Dot blot and basophil activation test of crab allergy patients showed that the mixed nine T cell epitope peptides lacked IgE-binding activity and was unable to stimulate the expression of CD63 and CD203c on the surface of basophils. Non-allergenic mixed T cell epitope peptides (NAMTEP) demonstrate the potential for preventing Scy p 9 allergies. According to the evaluation of the preventive effect of Scy p 9 allergy mouse model, mice challenged with oral administration of Scy p 9 after early injection of NAMTEP did not show any allergic symptoms. NAMTEP inhibited IgE generation and Th2 immune response, preventing Scy p 9 allergy reactions in mice. Areas such as safety evaluation of novel foods and ingredients, biotechnologically-derived products, and nanomaterials are included in the scope of the journal. FCT also encourages submission of papers on inter-relationships between nutrition and toxicology and on in vitro techniques, particularly those fostering the 3 Rs. The principal aim of the journal is to publish high impact, scholarly work and to serve as a multidisciplinary forum for research in toxicology. Papers submitted will be judged on the basis of scientific originality and contribution to the field, quality and subject matter.
