Abstract

This work focuses on optimizing the constellation design for simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) systems with integrated receivers that affect the modulation scheme and require non-coherent symbols. Specifically, we propose, analyze and compare the optimal pulse energy modulation (PEM) with the uniform PEM. The work focuses on the trade-off between symbol error probability (SEP) and peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR), minimizing SEP while constraining PAPR.
