A comprehensive review on Ayurvedic plants and isolation of their phytoconstituents

Abstract

This review discusses the medical and pharmaceutical significance of Ayurvedic plants with a focus on their relevance in daily life. A brief overview of common techniques employed for the isolation of marker compounds (phytoconstituents) is provided along with a detailed examination of the marker compound libraries derived from various Ayurvedic plants.
