Abstract
A series of novel N,N′-diaryl dihydroxamic acids have been synthesized from sebacoyl chloride and the corresponding substituted N-phenylhydroxylamines. The synthesized dihydroxamic acids are promising due to their potential metal-chelating ability and biological properties.
