Abstract
It is not uncommon for patients to exhibit depressive symptoms after suffering a stroke. The research literature regarding the effect of antidepressants on stroke outcome and/or recurrence is conflicting, however (Kalbouneh et al. 2022; Lundström et al. 2020).
