Fujiwara-Moritani reaction has proven to be robust for the efficient construction of polyfunctionalized olefins and cyclic skeletons. Recent advances toward greener systems, compatibility with strongly coordinating heterocycle substrates and sterically hindered internal olefins, and achieving asymmetric catalysis have collectively opened new frontiers for Fujiwara-Moritani reaction.2009 Elsevier Ltd.
