Abstract
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) decorated whispering gallery mode (WGM) microcavities are prepared for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) sensing. The composite microcavity is sensitive to the refractive index changes caused by VOCs adsorptions, with a sensitivity of 9.74 nm/RIU, a detection limit of 3.30×10-3 RIU, robust reproducibility, and good resistance to humidity or temperature variations.
