Algebraic intersection strength for hyperbolic surfaces

Abstract

We show that the algebraic intersection strength of hyperbolic surfaces of genus $g$ has a minimum in the moduli space. We also describe the asymptotic behavior of the algebraic intersection strength in the moduli space.
