SERS Effect
In article number 2410296, Insub Jung, Sungho Park, and co-workers report on Au tetrahedral nanoframes with mono-rim or dual-rim morphologies synthesized through a rationally designed multiple-step process, followed by an investigation of their distinctively ordered self-assembly for enhanced performance in surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). The non-centrosymmetric tetrahedral nanoframes self-assemble into a distinctive antiparallel arrangement, exhibiting strong electromagnetic field enhancement, extensive spatial hot zones and, consequently, the SERS effect.
