Abstract

Three undescribed phenoxybiphenyl, neohenbiphenylols A (1), B (2) and C (3) along with known of diphenyl ethers 4, and 5, and dibenzofuran 6 were isolated from the endophyte Neohendersonia kickxii RT-749. The structures of these undescribed compounds, including their absolute configurations, were elucidated by analyses of NMR, UV, IR, HRESITOFMS, and ECD data. Compounds 13 showed cytotoxicity against human promyelocytic leukemia (HL60) cells with IC50 values of 3.7, 4.3 and 7.3 μM, respectively, and antimicrobial activity against Bacillus subtilis with an MIC value of 25 μgmL-1.
