The volumetric ion interaction parameters of sodium metaborate at various temperatures were determined. The apparent molar volumes of sodium metaborate derived from the experimental results varied smoothly with solute concentration and temperature and could be fitted with an average precision of ±0.04 cm<sup>3</sup> mol<sup>–1</sup> using Pitzer ion interaction model. Abstract
