Abstract
As Kaiser Permanente mental health workers continue to strike for nearly six months over Kaiser's “broken” mental health system, a report last month by the state's Department of Managed Care Services has found that the nation's largest non-profit HMO has not yet corrected almost two dozen violations, including the prompt rescheduling of appointments appropriate for the enrollee's health care needs and ensuring continuity of care consistent with good professional practice.
